  • Its the antenna for the XM. Unfortunately the satellite coverage for Xm ends in Puerto Rico. But I keep it on the windshield so it works in Puerto Rico or the USA.

  • Dear Sir. Why is that strong Seneca climb initial around 8-900, and after reduce power only 500 f/m?

  • Just technique. Moving to 500 foot a minute gives a good 110 knots. The higher the rate of climb the slower the speed, or the higher the power. No need to waste fuel and put additional stress on the engines, when you have no obstacles.

    I flew back about 6 months ago. It's a challenging airport.

    I will certainly try the new airport when it opens. However, for small planes large airports tend to be much less friendly. They end up charging high fees and are very beaurocratic. Also often they stop having av fuel. lets hope that the new airport does not fall in that trend.... thanks for your comment.
