After nearly 3 years of work the Wedge Speedbike and it's Moldless Vacuum Bagged carbon fiber frame got it's first run in the 200 meter sprint with the top on at the Ford Human Powered Speed Challenge on Ford's High speed 5 mile oval in Michigan. Eric Ware went 43 miles per hour through the traps after a 3.8 mile run up. He also got to run the bike for an hour where he went 34 miles with some make shift mirrors duct taped to the shell. Watch for more updates as we will be making more tweaks to the bike before the 2009 Human Powered Speed Challenge in Battle Mountain Nevada in a few months.
