@blocfoals Yeah, you're totally right each to their own. But personally, I've never been the type of person to jump around and dance at a gig, I like to watch and learn, so intead I will always stand for as long as I have to to see a band I like. If I'm playing a gig I think one of the last things I'd want is people specifically in the front row sat down.True, respect is in the attention given, but from a dark stage looking onto a darker room, you usually can't see that.

@JxLamdin090 Normally I'd agree, but it was sooo crowded in that tiny space. I probably wouldn't have been able to see if the people in front of me hadn't sat down because the stage, even you would even call it that, wasn't elevated much.

yea people are not allowed to enjoy good music they have to jump around like dumbasses

The crowd sucks so much!!!!

Why the fuck are people sat down? You make the effort to go and see a band like Battles live, it's only respectful to stand through the whole thing. You haven't been to a gig unless your back aches, your knees hurt and your mind has been blown.

God I would KILL to see Battles that close.

My three most favorite songs from Gloss Drop is this song, Ice Cream and Roles Bayce. But the rest of them are really good too...

@JxLamdin090 Each to their own, surely? It's not really a jumping about track, in the main. I'm 8 minutes in at the moment, and my god, I fucking love Sundome - and if I were there, I wouldn't sit; but that's just likely the venue and the vibe - there's no disrespect. The respect is in the attention given, and arguably in the money paid to be able to do so. The bloke chirping away at the start is disrespectful.
