Why aren't actresses like Ms. Das given more opportunity, more attention, rather than all those dumb, stupid, pretentious, fake accented lassies of Bollywood? Such a smart, intelligent person who's never sold out not matter what and always stuck to her art and her dignity. Bollywood is shiite, Indian Cinema needs more women like her.

@brockbrahamsXI I agree 100%. She is a class act.. I first saw her in Fire, and after seeing her in Fire I just had to see her in other movies. Great actress, bright, not phony, and does films that leave a message. I also like Shabana Azmi , another class act. Shabana recieves a lot of critism( for not being the model Muslim woman) I respect her for making her own choices and not letting religion, culture, or politics dictate to her. Her not following all the Muslim rules is a personal choice.

Bollywood isn´t Indian cinema. There are nice regional films with good stories reflecting the real life in languages like Malayalam, Tamil, Bengali etc
