Copyright Disclaimer
Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of 'fair use.' The recent amendments to the Copyright Act of 1976 pertain to music. 'Fair use' remains in force for film and video.

  • 50's Cool...

  • great flick.

    thanks for posting.

  • Telly Savallas j

  • I forgot to say "thanks" for both the upload and for the information above for the Copyright Disclaimer.

  • Great jd flick, pretty upscale as far as jd movies go (serious message "film", with John Frankenheimer directing who later direct "Manchurain Candidate.")

Almost on a par with "Rebel Without A Cause" and "Blackboard Jungle."

I say "almost", because...and I don't want to give away specifics regarding the ending...but the movie is pretty preachy. LOL!

  • Excellent film that really depicts the time when gangs were really prevalent in NYC. I recall very well.

  • At about 00:04:46 we see an extra who looks just like a younger Arnold Schwarzenegger. Of course, it's not him, but what an amazing likeness!

  • Shelley Winters was very good in this.

  • Very good acting by all but this was the beginning of the "It's not my fault, it was society, my parents, my peers, my bed wetting, everyone and thing but me. The sentencing was fair but the morality speeches throughout the movie were leaning to the poor criminal.

  • Very good! Thanks!
