Bedlam in Goliath is one of my favourite albums, not only by the Mars Volta but also of any band I've ever heard. Everything about every song is just stunning. Plus there's the fact that the lyrics are from ghosts. Its just so chilling.

@magicyte i don't know if you think its easy to play outside of scales and key structures for 100+ minute album runtimes and make money by selling a shitload of albums, but i can assure u sir its not. if it was more people would be doing it.

@Anonymous122131 octahedron was still a good album. tmv said it themselves that it was the closest to mainstream or pop they were willing to approach.. maybe thats why you consider it bad compared to the other albums
