I miss this incubus. The new album is great but come on.

Man Brandon looks so much older now since this video. But awesome live performance!

@NcountR are you saying bass isn't music?
-
@Casemandoo it's kenney but yea he does all the songs justice...it's not as if he doesn't belong, people don't like change in the music world, they think it makes things worse...in this case i don't think anything changed other than their music style, but bands evolve. ben is a great musician and he more than fills the empty space that they had. if you don't like the music why are you wasting your time posting negative comments.

Ben Kenney can suck my dick, but yeah, maybe you're a fan who likes Love Hurts, Dig, u made a fan club and you'd like Brandon Boyd to be your boyfriend.
I don't know if Dirk was more talented, but what i know is he was essential for incubus sound. I can't say the same about Kenney.

@RZech285 well first off dirk is legendary, he was a great musician and added every great bassline to all of incubus' songs. secondly, everyone has said this and I've read this article too, but I've also read where mike has just mainly given him ideas and shown him the general notes ( which i would need help too considering that mike is a very unique guitar player and song writer lol) but mike named the songs that dirk did write and they were the most badass lines, I could name them all for you.

@Cleland494 Ben is awesome and so was Dirk but saying slapping on bass is a cliche is like saying strumming a guitar is cliche, it's just a technique used. A bloody hard one at that.

i am with you man, dirk was awesome, but ben kenney is out of this fuckin world....he is a "musician" not just a bassist

I read online a while ago that ur so called legendary Bassist didn't even write his bass lines. From what Mike said in a private interview was that the reason he left the band was because he was lazy and always clashed with the band during early morning recordings because he was not an early riser. Mike also mentioned that he wrote most of the bass lines as well as guitar.
