The Chao Mae Tuptim Shrine is Bangkok is located on the outer grounds of the Swissotel Nai Lert Park. It can be reached by taking the service exit on the right when going through the park behind the hotel. The precise origins of the shrine and its initial purpose are not well known, but over the years it turned into a shrine where people look for fertility and good luck. It is (in)famous for its many phallic symbols. Lately the number of artefacts seems to have somewhat decreased, but the small shrine compound is relatively well maintained.
