John Robert Jurisich, artist since 1970, paints in his gallery in Amador City, a very small town in the foothills of Northern California.

In this two part film John demos his unique style showing in Part 1 how he layers paint and in Part 2 how he creates his paintings.

This technique is the basis of all his works. See his works on line at http://picasaweb.google.com/fatherofprismatics/

  • what is a substitute for Maple Jellow???? :(

  • @Booklvr777 You can use FLESH or you can eliminate this step but you must be more careful when you apply the colors, and not mix as you apply to the gray paint. John

  • The paint is applied and as soon as the layers of paint are all applied then I start to paint. The paint must be wet to work and I have maximum 3 days to complete before the paint starts to gel, John

  • This is a song that Andrea Bocelli sang. I will have to research this if you like, john, I LOVED it .
