3237 - 4501 - 4701 - 4833 are featured in this video.

3237 was built in the United Kingdom by Beyer Peacock & Co and came into service in Australia on the 26th of February, 1893. the Loco was originally numbered P 508 but became 3237 in the NSWGR 1924 renumbering scheme. The loco worked mainline runs around NSW, while its original use was as a passenger express locomotive, it was also used for light freight. For the last part of its working career 3237 was based at Cowra's locomotive depot. The loco was withdrawn in November 1971.

During 2009 and 2010 3801 Limited has hired out 3237 supporting LVR for their Main line tours. Some of them are:

3237, 5917 & 3830 Hunter Valley Steamfest Triple Header of 2009: 3237 and 5917 were leased from the Lachlan Valley Railway Museum for 3801 limited doing a tour run to Branxton after arriving at the event with passengers from Sydney.
3237 Children's Christmas Party To Rosehill Racecourse: A private train charter with the Lachlan Valley Railway's 3237 from Sydney - Rosehill Racecourse for a Christmas Party on Wednesday December 2, 2009. This is the first time in months that 3237 has been steaming since August[when?].
3237 Cockatoo Run: 3237 from the Lachlan Valley Railway hauled two steam hauled trains from Sydney to Moss Vale on Sunday April 18 and Monday 26 April, 2010 during the ANZAC Public Holiday.
3237 Bankstown Shuttles: 3237 hauled shuttle trips from Sydney to Bankstown on Sunday May 2, 2010.

    as she ran a Hotbox on her front bogie earlier in the year

  • nice video mate, i remember going on a Bankstown shuttle years ago.

  • @Bails992 She came down Saturday week ago, this last Sunday she was used as a wedding train by a couple. I was told she traveled down to the gong and back stopping at Loftus on the loop line for 10 minutes.
