My Quaker, Jesse, loves these games. He doesn't quite get it yet, as he thinks tapping my laptop's screen and keyboard is what triggers the response, but it amuses him very much. After a while, he began saying "Come here" to the laptop, like he wanted it to get up and walk to him. He hasn't been this fascinated by my computer since I introduced him to parrot videos on YouTube.
By the way, you may remember me from the MidSouthCon, I was the girl who had the wings.

My grandmother has a double yellow! They're so awesome and it's funny to call her house 'cause all you hear is Mango chattering and singing in the background.
Parrots really are smart and wonderful animals!

2 out of 3 parrots here answer the phone, which is great because telemarketers will think the parrot is a person. "Hello, my name is Andrew and I was wondering if I could interest you--" "Hello?" "Yes, hello, my name is--" "Are you there?" "I'm with the tele--" "HI RUDY. HI. HI." "--urvey--" "HI! HI! HI!"

Do you know any tips on how to train a Blue Front Amazon parrot to speak or pronounce words correctly? He only says 'Hello' right now, lol... I am trying to teach him some new words or phrases.
Nice video. I thought it was really cool to see your bird interact like that. :)

Private time is important, many birds don't feel cozy practicing in direct sight of people. I've found that a silent bird may actually be quiet vocal, but not comfortable talking yet. If the bird has a room it's comfy in and can't hurt itself (like no electrical cords) let the bird hang out on its own with people off in an other room where they can be heard, but not clearly. Natural instinct for vocal contact + privacy = chance to speak and become comfortable using more words.

I don't think my little Sun Conure could do this stuff. . . but he does say somethings. "Kiki good boy" when we pet him. He's learning "Hello" and "I love you". Your bird IS very cute. Very smart, too. =)

Conures are totally great for computer games because they chirp and scream a lot. Try leaving the "little bird" game (link in Youtube "more info") running near his cage or playgym. A cockatiel taught herself to sing when using the old version of that game because she used rhythmic sounds to activate the objects and finally burst out in little songs.
