This was my third run through. I still am having trouble getting the more rapid beats that match the hi-hat in the background. My iPod lagged twice and had a battery alert through it.
The mat I put down is an upside-down mouse pad. During the first two attempts at this song that I did not record, the iPod moved around. A lot. The pad held it in place.

@miller0wnz Yeah -- I couldn't hold the streak. I just got an iPod with more RAM (4th gen) So hopefully I can remake the video without the game lagging -- maybe then i could hold a streak XD. Btw, there are a bunch of free songs in the store, including this one.
