WoW! It has been 10 years, since my father died who lived in B.C. My aunt lives there, in Surrey. So I stayed with her until my father's passing. He use to live in White Rock. What a beautiful part of our country. I do not want to live there (no offense to the people of B.C.), I am a born-and-raised Prairie boy, and love Manitoba soo much. But, I always love to visit Vancouver, and the rest of B.C, again, and swim in the ocean! It is soo true that there are many rainy days, as much as snowy

I probably need a spare battery just in case.
Ha ha. I have two dSLR's (Xti & XS) and two camcorders (one Sony HD) but I believe I missed many moments. They are bulky so they are useful only in some rare occasions. The ZR3 will be with me all the times so no more "lost moments"! Hope you would enjoy the T2i, but keep the ZR3 with you! I ordered the ZR3. Thanks!
Hey, I just found out you are also a composer/song writer! Very impressive!
Cheers!

Great music ! Very "artistic" driving clip :)
What video format did you use? Is the clip a (roughly) continuous (2.5 x 18) 45 minutes clip? Thanks!

@ironbadge hi ironbadge, thanks!! yes it is a 45 minute continuous clip. It is recorded on a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZR3, a tiny point and shoot camera that I set up on a mini tripod in the middle of my dash. It records up to 1 hour of continous HD video on an 8 gb card. It records in 720p, using the format called AVCHD Lite. I then used the Speed adjustment in Final Cut Pro and rendered the video out. I highly recommend this little camera for "guerilla style" filming.
take care,
Geoff

@geoffpeterstrio
Hi Geoff!
That's awesome. Thanks a lot for your quick reply and the information. I use a Vado HD for "dashboard filming" :D but I definitely need this one for more serious stuffs. Free myself from DSLR and big camcorder.
I forgot to ask about the battery life: how long would it last for a charge?
Hey, you're a great pianist!
Thanks & regards,
ib.

@ironbadge thanks! The battery on this camera (Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZR3) lasts about 1 hour with a single charge. it's great for travelling too, easy to pack and really light. I recently got a new Canon DSLR (EOS Rebel T2i) and am using it a lot right now. The quality of the DSLR video is better, but the DSLR's don't have automatic focus for video, so you can probably get better videos out of the Panasonic Lumix unless you also buy a special viewfinder or follow focus for the DSLR. cheers! -g
