  • It made sense to me - I enjoyed it. However, you can choose not to see if if you'd rather not.

It's the nature of experiments that sometimes they lead to places we'd never have got to any other way; who's to say where this experiment may lead?

It was fun, to me - but I do understand what you're saying.

  • secondlife :O!

  • I can't rub my tummy and pat my head at the same time... not properly anyway. Harmonica and guitar and singing, all at once... I'd be a basket case. Fun to watch the real you knock it out, Kom.

@SusiSpicoli I used to feel the way you do. Anything that hinted at RL within SL annoyed me. I wanted full immersion. Now it is all the same to me... RL and SL. Real and talented people in their different manifestations.

  • Excellent use of the media prim! Nice music too.

I see music videos (you know from "established" artists) trying this soon

  • @susispicoli As JJ & Osprey say,and implied in the info notes, it's just proof of concept.

If we don't live test prototypes or tech ideas we a. don't find out what may work and b. miss out on the happy accident of screwing around with shit to see what happens and where it may lead;-)

This video test (a smaller moulded cyborg attachment would be better) has given me the best "feel" so far in terms of adding an extra element to the audience/performer feedback loop with video,

  • +1

This is a proof of concept. Wait 5 years, and you'll find yourself teleporting into the new okgo music video, all live, and will never be coming back. Great stuff Komuso and Osprey!

  • I don't know. Just because it's technical possible doesn't mean it makes any sense as a user experience. Why would I want to mix SL and RL, particularly in that way?
