Screw what the general public thinks about the genre. Their are so many sub genre's of metal it is hard to classify bands nowadays and it seems like everyone thinks everything is deathcore, anyways. Example: the Black Dahlia Murder. Not deathcore. Melodic Death Metal. Just look at what the bands want to be labeled.
