This video features a 1994 Mustang GT equipped with a 2.5" Pypes off-road X-pipe & cat-back system. The system includes a pair of Pypes Violator mufflers.
IMO, it will be a bit louder and I do not know if it will drone but typically straight through mufflers do not drone. The tone will be slightly different, most likely higher pitched since there will be little to no tailpipe.
@PypesExhaust it is a 1998 Mustang Cobra. It has a 4.6L engine and it had borla side exhaust. The exhaust will be exiting before the tires, where it did before. I will also be running a Pypes off road X-pipe.
There are alot of different variables that will determine that. For instance, I would assume that you are using this style muffler to dump in front of the tires, so your tailpipe would not be as long. Can you give me more info ? i.e: the car, engine, exhaust, etc....
