If Hanuman had not got any super power then Ram himself may just built a huge boat or some large size boats with help of Varana Sena and easily crossed 30 Kms long Sea.[Because In Mastya Purana Vishnu already had constructed the huge Boat to help Vaivasvata Manu in order to sea save Humanity]

@wakeupmessage To build large ships to transport the large army would have involved technicians and ship builders. But to build a bridge of rocks, to fill the narrow gap only involved brute strength of animals and there were plenty of those. Besides bridge again was strategy by Ram to stun the enemy. It was easy to cross over with a large army win the battle and get the army back to India. Whereas with ships that would have been difficult.

I would like to add any religious leader who did not talk about importance of vegetarian diet, has not done his job right. If even Hanuman could increased his body size and put his finger tip on sea between India and Sri Lanka, itself be enough for Rama and Vanara sena to cross the Sea between two countries

According to the legend Hanuman is capable of flying. So he could just increase his body size and could took Rama and Vanara Sena in just Palm of one hand and easily flown to Sri Lank.

@wakeupmessage These yogic beings could achieve extraordinary things. But even they had limitations. They could stretch themselves to great achievements. Ordinary humans can achieve extra-ordinary things. Just think of even a gymnastic expert or a ballet dancer. However Hanuman could not have increased his physical size to cover the gap. It would also have been improper. Recall Mother Sita's answer this very offer by Lord Hanuman when He offered to carry Her to Ram !

@wakeupmessage It is difficult to separate cult from religion. So fare Islam, christianity and even Hinduism sometimes, have only been excuse for violent atrocities. So I must stress study ancient wisdom to modify your way of life. Vegetarianism is the way. Non-violence is the only way. Practice charity to all beings including animals for they are your brothers too! Remove cruelty to animals, environment and everything else will fall in place. Sorry for the preaching ! Peace!
