Hong Kong Food : Smelly Tofu

I think this is only popular in Hong Kong and Taiwan. The Tofu is deep fried, crunchy outside but smooth inside. Well, the smell is a bit stingy but the taste is not bad !!!

smelly tofu is an acquired test..I used to live in Hongkong.....I love smelly tofu, I always buy it when i go to night market in Mongkok or Jordan....

I heard that some Chinese admit that it smells of shit. Some Chinese food vendors even go as far as using human excrement to make the stinky tofu smell 'stronger'

Smelly tofu (tou do-Fu) has a really strong aroma when I went to mong kok I could smell it across the street, but my mum loved it XD

Great vid. Smelly tofu isn't bad. I think it smells bad when you fry it but you can barely taste it in your mouth.
