I think this amp has the basskind voice like in this video, it was designed for lapsteel. I'm buying one soon, spotted one :-) will roll back the bass knob though :-)

Great demo!!! I going to get one of these amps tonight along with an old 15" silvertone speaker. Does Mr Vassos have his SG's tone knob rolled back, or is this just amps voice? Also, is he playing on his neck pickup? I want to get as close to that tone as possible!

No mods but Its had caps replaced and just does that when cranked up over halfway . Its a beater but sounds great .Im the owner of the amp and used my iphone to record John and he was plugged straight in no pedals .. ThAt amp just does that when cranked up over the halfway point .. Its a beater but sounds sweet especially when im not playing it badly LoL!
