SF Fog - Thank You Message

A special message of thanks from the San Francisco Fog Rugby Football Club in reflection of the 2007-2008 rugby seasons.

The message as recited by our members:

"As a member of the San Francisco Fog, I would like to say thank you to everyone that helped make this past season special to us.
Thank you for sponsoring and donating to the club and making so many of the things we do possible.
Thank you for coming to our monthly Fog Fridays beer busts and having a wonderful time with us.
Thank you for helping make our Jell-O Wrestling, Balls-Out Ball and garage sale fund raisers successful events that greatly benefited our club.
Thank you for coming out to our matches to cheer on the Fog from the sidelines, whether at home, on the road, and even halfway around the world.
Because of your support, we were able to field a successful women's side that prevailed over two touring sides from the U.K. and made its mark in the Pacific Coast RFU playoffs.
Because of your support, we were able to field a deep men's developmental side filled with new ruggers that quickly developed a great appetite for this wonderful game.
Because of your support, we were able to field a skilled men's competitive side that held its own in arguably the strongest regional rugby football union in America.
Because of your support, we were able to travel to Dublin, Ireland in June 2008 and field two sides at The Bingham Cup, one of the largest amateur rugby tournaments in the world, reaching the semi-final matches in both the Cup and Plate divisions.
And most importantly, because of your support, we were able to stay true to our vision to be the preeminent rugby club in the world that actively pursues the participation of people of color, gay men, women, and other groups traditionally under-represented in rugby.
Thank you for supporting the San Francisco Fog Rugby Football Club, and we look forward to seeing you again next season."
