Phillip Lester performs an enduring classic composed in 1790's. This is actually a very ancient Scottish folk song. Around 1793 the Scottish poet Robert burns wrote lyrics that were set to this melody. it has become a traditional song performed on New Years Eve and other special occasions like reunions, graduations, and other sentimental celebrations.
