You have posted some lovely videos. The exhaust note is intoxicating and the Irish scenes addicting.
Please, what is the name of the introducing Irish song and artist - so haunting.
In another video you say you had tappet problems, and imply that this has been rectified. As an interested buyer of an 8V, how can I know if this has been done? Is there a VIN # beyond which production has delt with this issue?

Hi, sorry I did not see your post earlier. The music is by Good Company: the popular folk song, Star of the County Down (County Down in Northern Ireland). You will find very many recordings by very many people. I used a version by Bela Fleck on these videos, until Youtube took the music off!
Tappets/cams have been replaced - it's a long story. All the early engines (there is a VIN range) should have had this work done. A dealer should be able to check on the MG online system.

Beautiful music and you didn't it even get it up on cams. Unlike a Harley these things will make some screaming top end if you like a solid heavy ride and not trying to outNinja the squids.

yes the high rev video exists elsewhere. I thought it better not to display it, but maybe I'll put some up. As you say, it does go different above 7.5 thou.
