AR15 magazine paint & 550 cord (del CH)

I lost many loaned mags...so I needed a way to drasticaly change some of my mags...Improvise if I dont describe something...ES PARA KE SE ACUERDEN QUE SON MIOS CUANDO ESTEN PRESTADOS!!!!!

awesome video. I went ahead with Magpuls but this is def a great way to improvise. question, i've heard painting mags causes issues inserting and removing them. Any issues here with yours? If not, I've got a project tomorrow

How did the Krylon hold up to use? I am thinking of painting my mags, mainly for cosmetics more than anything else. I am not sure if Krylon will hold up well enough or if I should go with Duracoat. Maybe I'll try both...

It held up verry well, however I wear my mags on CONDOR brand mag pouches, half exposed and retained via the bungee cord,...I eventually had to remove the tape to clean the mags...leaving the bottom exposed.....I repaint about every 3 months,I use body armor,level 3 with plates, 16 hours DAILY!!, no joke.....so all my gear, including MAgs, take a beating....Be Safe!

@Piyinone Damn dude, what are you wearing armor for 16 hours a day for?? You out in Iraq/Afghanistan/Mexico maybe? I've got level 4 plates I use both at home and for work. But never do I wear them for 16 hours at a time, that sucks dude! I just went ahead and got some duracoat in magpul desert (to match the rest of my rifle) so we will see how that goes. I will post a video up when I paint them and a review on how durable they were.

@usmcboyer You Guessed it, its the 3rd.......Its bad out here but its improving, more then 32 officers were slain on a recent year!!!.....Army and Marines patrol the city also, most police officers carry Bushmaster ARs or Beretta Rifles, some G3s,....ill post a video later on the equipment....when I can get enough volunteers for pictures....plates issued were recently changed to some lighter but bulkier Israeli brand.....

i have a buddy in the marines that just used cord just like that and would cut it in half, and tie bug knots on the side and just wrap masking tape around the side of the mag with the cord in place so the knot facing toward the top and then tape, then the cord hands out the bottom. i guess thats the ghetto way? lol

@Piyinone damn dude, make shit happen out there. Best of luck to you in getting those ass holes where they need to be - DEAD. Appreciate your work out there in making the world a safer place. I've done the Iraq thing and I've done some other things I cant talk about but I have a feeling Mexico is no joke. I would actually like to get out there and give a hand if I had the chance. I'll subscribe so I don't miss any videos you put up in the future.
