@glazuna you need to connect the am3 side brackets to the cooler for it to connect cpu

can you help me? i bought this cooler, i placed it vertical, i have AMD pheonm II x4 965, it's not cooling very much, almost the same as stock one, do i have to put new thermal past? because i used the one already on the cooler. And even cooler is not hot when i touch it, i don't know what's wrong?

yes normally you would be able to but i had a different custom cooler in so i had to but as long as you have the stock plate of the back of the board you can put it on easy without taking out the board

So i would be able to easily put it on my Phenom 2 x4 940 wich is all stock without removing the mboard?
