i would go with shoulder harness rather than drop leg. Less wobbling around and less likely to be caught on branches and stuff on the ground

that tip could render your ghillie useless
if you dont want to paint it take some electrical tape and tape it off so you can remove it after the game

Dang thats a Great Homemade ghillie suit! could u maybe tell me how you made that gunwrap?

the gun wrap is very simple. I used the same 1" nylon netting i used for my ghillie suit. You just cut about 1 ft. x6 ft. section and tie burlap in random places. Took about 45 min. to make.
