I just wanted to say that you are a wonderful trainer. Very patient with a great knowledge. Nice to see a trainer not apply "treats" as a constant reward and get such wonderful results. You did a great job with her and should be very proud, she is a beautiful horse. I am a huge fan of Clint Anderson and your techniques remind me of him. I m interesed in seeing your beginning to end series with Sundance. Do you have a DVD available? Thank you and again wonderful job with her!
would love to see a video of her being ridden also how long did you take with her?
the antlers were funny liked that.

@cazyhorseworld It took a little longer than usual since it was winter, but generally it was over a couple months, working with her about 3 or 4 times per week. I could have gotten it done faster I think, but was in no hurry, which is a good thing. She has been showing with her new owner and winning lots of blue ribbons and was voted favorite horse by the group who rides/shows together.

hi aeron!
my quarter horse mare is kind of sensitive when i kick or smooch telling her to go forward...how do you make her less sensitive?
Zc4LaFRANZ4EVA 1 year ago
@Zc4LaFRANZ4EVA Do it a million times! And only use those cues when you need them... remember, you WANT your horse to be sensitive to the aids! But if you want a horse less sensitive to something, repeat it over and over again... reward them when they just stand there or are calm & quiet. Think of all the people who yank on the bit over and over... eventually they have a horse that's dead in the mouth, and they have to go to a bigger bit.. remember to always reward your horse for being good!
