In this two part video series we take a look at the Springfield M1 Garand 30-06 simi-auto rifle. Our special guest Ron gives us an extensive review and overview of the rifle as well as a brief history lesson of the rifle and the important role it played in WWII and beyond. We also get a chance to plink off a few rounds down range to get a feel for the power and accuracy of the firearm.. Feed your M1 Garand 30-06 from http://sunflowerammo.com

  • Umm... at around 6:52.... you have the order backwards. The .223 is on the far right, .308 in middle, and 30-06 on the left.

  • why are the serial numbers always blocked?

  • @xhdc43x9 the mosin is a wonderful rifle. i own two m91/30's and a m44. i know one of my 91/30's has seen combat becuase it has a russian name carved in the stalk with a swastica carved into it also with 18 tally marks next to it. it is wonderful i love it.

  • "its original 1943... has new barrel, new stock ect" so therefore it is not exactly original. probably got it from Orion 7 company that has different grades of M1's. One of those grades is a "original" rifle where the barrel and various other parts are replaced with brand new parts. I personally own a 1943 Mosin Nagant M91/30 Izhevsk factory with all matching serial numbers and is completely original. Got a great one because it shoots 1/2 MOA at 105 yds.

  • Serial Numbers are not generally shown because it would only take a phone call to the ATF to report it stolen, resulting in a huge hastle for the maker of this video.

  • @Gool349 WOW you need a life...

  • @Gool349 save until your 18 and buy the real thing

  • @TescoVee now i know; thanks

  • @LedZeppelinXV Exactly! what is some crook going to do; report it stolen? makes no sense to me.

  • @TescoVee what good would the serial numbers be to a crook?

  • @LedZeppelinXV paranoia

  • what company did the restoring? me and my dad might get one
