MEET KENNETH HERRARA

Kenneth Herrera was born and raised in Carson, CA. He currently attends UC Irvine studying Urban Studies, in hopes to land a career in Urban Planning and Design. Kenneth's first exposure to dance began at the age of 10 when he would make small routines with his cousins to perform at family gatherings. Since then, he grew a love for dance and has danced for teams such as Carson Street Dance (Co-Captain 2007-2008, Captain 2008-2009) and Future Shock LA. Kenneth is currently the coordinator of CADC (Chinese Association Dance Crew), a hip hop dance team at UC Irvine. His dance inspirations include CADC, PAC Modern, Boogiezone Breed, Gigi Torres, April Rodriguez, and Lawrence Devera. Dance has been something that kept Kenneth motivated to do well in all he does. He is truly appreciative of all the opportunities he has been given throughout these past few years. He would like to give shout outs and a big thanks to God, his family, friends, CADC, Kappa class, Carson Street Dance, and Future Shock LA.

MEET ALYSSA CACHERO

Hi! My name is Alyssa Cachero and I'm currently a 3rd year Biological
Sciences Major at UCI studying to pursue a career in Pharmacy. I'm from Long Beach, CA which is where I trained in various styles of dance such as ballet, tap, jazz, cheerleading, songleading, and hip hop. I have danced with Style2Kill, Griminals, and I am currently CADC Captain for the 2011-2012 year. This is actually going to be my first time teaching a Boogiezone class so I'm super excited and happy I get to share it with all of you! :]
