Hey, ive seen an occasional cold steel item or two youve done a review on and i notice a lot of immature idiots saying pointless negative things that dont really always even make sense...i have used a lot of different brands and such and despite the laughter of others who dont understand having a hobby ive done my best to keep being me and ignoring them. i like talking knives and using knives for things from actual work to recreational. hope things are going well

Now, take off an arm or even a hand and I guarantee you, whoever you're fighting will stop right then and there.

@dk0bl1v10n Getting stabbed multiple times and continuing to fence because, while they were bleeding, the blood flow was slow, and nothing vital had been hit. All vital organs are protected by the ribs, which are quite difficult to get through with something as weak as a thrust. Sure, you could hit the stomach, but last I checked, that generally could take several hours to days to die and with modern medicine, you could easily survive it. If you're lucky, you might hit the liver...

The axillary artery is present in both upper arms and it leads directly to your heart; you'll bleed out in about 10-20 seconds if you sever that. The femoral artery in the legs is similar. The only way a thrust to the torso can kill you faster is if you hit the heart, which means going through the sternum or several ribs. There are accounts of fencers from the 17th century fighting with the rapier...

@ChishioAme you have more chances of survival if someone cuts a limb (except ur head) comparing to someone stabing your torso and easily hitting vital organs.

Lynn really needs to think about what he's saying before he says it. He says that, with the edge, you can take off body parts or decapitate you then immediately goes on to say that the point is way deadlier. I don't know about you, but I'd be less worried about a (comparatively) little prick in the side next to someone lopping my arm or head off. Not dissing the guy, but he needs to wrap his head around that fact.
