It smells like troll in here...
-
@hooligram Your a cunt, that's also obvious.
-
@1vootman No shit Sherlock. State the fucking obvious why dont you...
-
The DSI Tempest kills this thing, but it's a nice sounding machine anyway.

How come everyone who has a Jomox can't get past 4/4?

Nice demo! Question...the rides cymbals sound a little 'choppy' - in stead of dying out they seem to abruptly stop. Is this the way the 888 handles it's samples or is it how you programmed it?

@vandewerk Thanks! The sample VCA have "ASD" envelopes, and sample length limitation is about 1sec (32.768 samples) on CRASH/RIDE/OPEN-HHAT.

@rithmus Thanks. So do you have to chop your own sound to be 32K samples before you send them to the 888? What is the limitation for the other sounds? (clap, rim, closed hat etc.)

@vandewerk All 44.1kHz @ 8bit (Mono)
ClosedHiHat / RIMSHOT: 8.192 samples ~ 250 ms.
CLAP: 24.576 samples ~ 750 ms.
OpenHiHat / CRASH / RIDE: 32.768 ~ 1 sec .
Not sure, test it!

@rithmus Thanks...judging from the size of some of the files on the Jomox site that seems about right....*but* those sample lengths only make sense at 32kHz....

@vandewerk @vandewerk Ups! Sorry, you're right! The sample-lengh on 888/999 are based on "XBase09 HiHat-Rom Expansion" as you can se at "frequencyresponse.ch" (and download a converter program if u need):
Closed HiHat & Rimshot: 182ms @ 44.1 kHz
Open HiHat & Clap: 557ms @ 44.1 kHz
Ride & Crash: 742ms @ 44.1 kHz
But I heard that OpenHiHat has more sample-lenght than CLAP, maybe as RIDE/CRASH section.
