Remember that contract you read online while booking? Oh wait I'm guessing you just clicked accept without actually reading it. The fine print: they don't have to refund anything, or give you on board credit, and it's not just Royal Caribbean, it's the entire travel industry. Live with it.

you have until your final payment due date to reduce your rate. After that you can upgrade if a higher catefory is available for the price you paid. this is a standard pollicy used by almost every major cruise line. There are no exceptions. You thought the original price was fair or you wouldn't have bought it.
get over it you loser. Please sail with Carnival from now on, I'm sure everyone will be happier.

I also wanted to add, and this WILL happen. When we board Allure the ship will sail full. There will be no discounts given to fill that ship. We were lucky to get the $100 onboard credit because we booked it while still onboard Oasis and the price I got was VERY good $2500 for two! The same stateroom goes to $3700 one week later for two people so I knew what date to book for and the price before they even told me. So I'm happy with it. If anything the price will skyrocket before embarkation date

Our last 7 night RCCI cruise for two people in a superior ocean view balcony stateroom was really about $5000 US after airfare, pre-cruise hotel, drinks etc. It was worth it though, we are booked on the sister ship (Allure) in the same stateroom for May of next year. It was the best vacation of my life, some things truly are more valuable than money and I say who cares about the money anyway! If you want cheaper try Carnival BUT you get what you pay for my friend. ;-).

When the ship is close to the departure date and cabins are still available, the cruise lines try to fill the ship by lowering the price. All cruise lines have this policy. Rates are based on supply & demand. If you buy a winter coat for $100 and then at the end of winter the coat is discounted 50% to get rid of inventory, a department store wouldn't give you a refund either. This is a silly thing to get so worked up about.

that is just your problem, rccl is the greatest industry ever!

Prior to making a final payment and prior the the last date to cancel, they do extend the reduced fair...IF you find the reduced fair and request the adjustment. I did just about 7-8 months ago. You were past your cancelation date and final payment date. That's tough, but a fact of life. If you're willing to make last minute travel arrangements and risk missing out on a prefered cruise and willing to take whatever is left over...then you are entitled to "last minute specials".

did u go on your cruise?? How was it?? are you still a complainer?? not everything in life goes you way you video drove me nuts by the way lmao
When we booked our honeymoon cruise, the price went down 3 times before departure. Each time my husband called them up and they gave us the lower fare. No questions asked. I have nothing but good things to say about RCCI!!

@daniellesilmon If you have not yet paid your cruise in full or are out of the time period when you can change, then YES, they will change it for you. However, if you have paid in full and are within 20-30 days from cruising day, you cannot change unless you pay higher price for an upgrading. ANY specials that appears within this time, are not available for those who already paid in full. which is my case. I could upgrade WITHIN my fare booking, but it would have cost us a lot more.
