Rick Robertson plays "Solitude", a 1993 composition dedicated to Beth Cleaveland Smith, who gave the first performance in the spring of 1993.
Robertson is a pianist, teacher, and composer active in LaGrange, Georgia. He is also active as a record collector, specializing in historic recordings of pianists and sopranos active at the beginning of the twentieth century. His compositions are, for the most part, inspired by and written for his piano students.
Wow, that was one of the most boring songs and poorest preformances I've ever heard / seen.

The most telling indication of your genius is that I've listened to 5 compositions in a row now, and although similar in that they are from the same tonal fabric, they all have distinct personalities and would probably be absolutely smashing arranged as a "Suite" . (Perhaps they have already?) Great stuff!
