The Window

Youthful Jamie suffers from cystic fibrosis, which terminally affects his breathing. Sixty-year old Martin is paralysed from the neck down. Together they share a room in a hospital where they amuse themselves as best they can.

where did you get the prop though?

Thanks for that. Well this was in London, and we got all props from a company which specialised in hospital/medical props. Was free as well cos it was a college film.

This was so... beautiful in some ways. In other ways, it gives the painful reality of the progressive disease and what it can do to claim the lives of people in their prime. Tho there was a sort of comedy in the end, it was just sad that Jamie had to go like that. I know someone who had CF, and she's one of the most beautiful people I've ever met. She's only 16, and suffering tremendously, with only being able to use 30% of her lung capacity. Take care.

that is sad :( it just shows reality on how poor people suffer from a disease like that... a person i went to school with has it :(
