A community and village again?? What does that have to do with music? Who is going to stop the gang mentality? Who is going to improve the schools? Who is going make the police stop gunning down boys that are of no current threat? They talk all this and then the next show they'll be back to talking about all the nonsense that this PSA is supposed to be speaking against.

People don't want to survive. They are living to die. Voluntary suicide. Damn music what about resources? pointless speech imo

I feel like the argument about whether Rap is hurting us falls short in that we don't address how bad it really got in the late 70s and 80s. Drugs, Police Brutality, The middle class desertion of the normal stomping grounds in search of the mirage that says we all can be rich and live a wealthy lifestyle. Then property taxes and failed economies start showing peoples true colors and hundreds of houses go in foreclosure.

Rap didn't cause decay, but it is acting as PR for negativity to spread.

yes and no. it's easier to do the right thing, but hard to give up what we like about the wrong things. ex: -why do people smoke, why do people drink, why do people cheat? - it would be easier just to not do those things. but we're drawn to the things that are wrong. imo
