This is a cheap way to build your own Aquarium Cooling fan you can save even more money if you can take a fan from an old computer or something else that has a fan in it and even save more by finding a old 12v adapter.
Cost is a little under $10 if you can not salvage any parts from anywhere.
New Fan $4.95 or take 1 out of a old dead computer or something with a fan.
New mount$1.00 or find a old tank part
New 12v adapter$3.50 or find some kind of old phone charger

Sorry for the late reply it really depends on the temp in the room if it stays consistent then it usually cool's the tank 5-10 degrees

  • @swimmingswammi Only 1 cause the more U connect the less power each fan would get but I think you could hook up 2 6V fans to 1 12V and it would work

  • how many fans can I link to the 12v power?

  • How big is your tank, and how many degrees do the fans shave off? I have a 55 gallon that I am looking up ways to keep cool.
