  • heya you where asking about your thoroughbred ,that kind of breed is bred to be slim, ive got the same problem my self,my 9 year old wont put on any weight, but he is suuper healthy, but with your horses age,its normal to to loose a bit of conditioning, its the same with the humans, isnt it ;) one question, did you get him of the racetrack once??? REGARDS tatjana

  • Hey, yes I had been asking about his weight and yes you're right about the age related to the weight. But actually I have put alot of weight on him by giving him a 90% grain diet with alfalfa. It's expensive...but it worked pretty good. And yes, he is off the track. He's also done dressage, eventing, and show jumping. But anyway, good luck with your horse!

  • I love thoroughbreds! My horse is a thoroughbred and also does barrels and poles, well all the gymkhana events.. Good to know there are other western TBs out there ;D

You don't know what is suffering you your-selves??????

  • It looks like you can do almost anything with him.

  • Very good how you manage your horse in every situation.

    I like your riding.
