@mrmarky44 Have no idea if it's the case, but I'd guess because he has a tendency to stand too far away from the ball. So, lining up with the ball on the heel puts him the right distance away from the ball at address. Wouldn't think it'd have anything to do with coming from the inside and not hitting it right. You can still hit it right even coming from the inside.
