I was considering buying this game but I've heard it's very glitchy and that the camera is the greatest enemy, is that true?

it is kind of glitchy especially like I mention with the high graphics demand and the camera is kind of annoying, but not so bad once you get used to it.

The dialog is some of the best thing about the game, download the patches, get the expansion, it fixes most of the issues. Also you can turn off the ai for companions completly(for each companion) or tweak the ai to your liking its in the character screen-last tab. Its a great game, espeically with the expansion, and the next exp. is coming this fall, which adds dynamic overland map, lets you create whole party from scratch like in icewind dale. PLus mysteries of westgate is coming too.

@Tiars666tiamat Hey, I was responding to someone else who was comparing them. I am a huge fan of both but DAO is just a better game is all. The combat system, graphics, story line, end game..etc. However I agree with you that Atari rushed it and put a bad taste in the mouth of gamers to a wonderful game. However....It looks like EA did the same thing to DA2. NW2 and DAO are both legendary games in my opinion however.

@killertaco97 Hey :) Don't get me wrong. Like I said I am a die hard NWN fan...like seriously love the game. NWN1 was amazing. The story line, game play and everything. The expansions were phenomenal and well done. NWN2 was superior in graphics and the story was amazing. I just didn't like the end game experience. However in comparing part 2s ...DA2 is garbage. @Dinodadon Let's not compare different things. Yes Dragon Age is better but it's single player only, they both started being developed at the same time I think but DAO had 3 years more and that's the fault of Atari. And that is no excuse. That's one of the reasons why Bioware left Atari and why even the post-final 1.24 patch for NwN2 is almost ready but does not get released.

Dragon age 2 - 2011 Sure Dragon age was better, but nwn was made to be like the dungeons and dragons, sure it had its faults, but the game was more expandible and had alot to offer. but hey, you have your opinion and i have mine. i have nothing against yours, ive just been into nwn for a long time, the original was my first. i respect your opinion, and hopefully you understand mine :) .

Dragon Age is better than NWN2. To start, the story is just way better. The characters are great and the game play is amazing. However, I wouldn't go as far as to say that it "blows NWN2 away." Both games are great and I had a great time playing both. I was extremely disappointed with the end games for NWN2. All that effort for a lazy, no effort ending. All in all I love both games, but I do favor DAO. Happy gaming all!!
