  • This song is not about getting high on drugs.

It's about Lytle separating himself from all the bullshit of the music industry.

He just wants to put out "an honest sound" because it what "elevates" him.

  • This is a brilliant track with a cool video. Their final album was so underrated but so were all their albums.

  • @ZweiSchrei I did a little research, and I found most popular music only has three or four different notes in the melody. If that's honest, this is heavy metal.

  • I think this should speak to many people, anyone who is creative, and some people who are sick of their jobs/life (I fall into both categories)

  • @ZweiSchrei are you high?

  • @ZweiSchrei Thats just not true

  • Jason killed Grandaddy...whatevs, hope his solo shit can even make par to Grandaddy. Those are some good ass people, who make good ass music. Poohbah life...

  • I remember having this music video preloaded to the first zune. I'm thrilled that I found this! :D

  • i heard this on forza 2 and i loved it, and i agree its not about drugs

  • FU*K the industry!

  • Last night my band had an argument in practice which was basically a battle of ego's. I stayed out of the way of course, but I don't want to be a part of all that argument bullshit. I play music because it's a fun thing to do and not because I want to boost my ego or anything. I'd rather write music by myself then be in a band with a load of jerks. I can definately relate to this song at the moment.
