  • I do have a great version of Rose City Chimes on my "Steel Guitar Favorites" CD. I'm using Nashvilles finest musicians playing a twin fiddle (fintwiddle) western style on this release. It just happens to be one of my very favorites that I have recorded out of 231 instrumentals, but to do it here with no band wouldn't be fair to the song or to steel guitar. If you want the CD, call 615 822 5555. I think you'll love it, I kept it like the Bobby Garrett original, just added ME!

  • Give me a request, I'll play what you want, Bobbe

  • Fantastic!!

  • My brother, the original Jimmie Hendrix was playing the old Fender 3 neck in the 50's. Of course like any steel player he had many guitars. In the early 60's just when peddles were coming out he had 3 attached to a Fender 2 neck and what a difference it made in the sound and the ease of playing. I am 62 now and my brother was 16 years older. I think we played ever honky tonk from Calif. to Oklahoma. Keep up the good work Bobby your great.

  • that was crazy what are the 3 necks for e9th c6th and

  • I'd love to hear the Rose City Chimes. Nobody ever seems to play it and I know a man of your skill could really tear it up.

  • this is amazing. i love the sound of this, im thinking about picking it up myself

  • thats incredible

  • That's a delay line on the front section. I see the bar hand move to switch it. Sounds good!

  • Typical Bobbe: So darned amazing and innovative you make me want to pack up my steel for a while. You play with speed and somehow maintain a cosistent beauty that sounds like a slow passage. I don't know if I'm making sense here. This is simply brilliant steel work, people! Keep your eyes and ears on this legend.

  • can you play the foggy mountain breakdown
