Massachusetts State Representative Philip Travis, an opponent of same-sex marriage, pleads his case in a joint session of the Massachusetts legislature.
This short videos juxtapose the spoken words of opponents - and the fury of their delivery - with the statements of equal marriage proponents from across the political, social and religious spectrum.
Travis is a pretty mean guy. On Jan 2, 2007 he said this: "Representative Philip Travis, a Rehoboth Democrat and a strong opponent of same-sex unions, said the court decision was the catalyst that has turned the tide. 'They had victory in their jaw and it was snatched right from them,' he said."

I'd like to give this shmuck a piece of mind. I am an atheist and am NOT BOUND by his religious beliefs. Only a RATIONAL/SECULAR justification for banning same-sex marriage is acceptable. I have yet to find one.
