The Albert Blain Performers Aid Society
2nd Annual Celtic Festival 2009 Fundraiser
Speaking on behalf of the Albert Blain Performers Aid Society is Andy Donnelly host of The Celtic Show on CKUA Radio Network.
The Society was initiated shortly after Albert's passing on July 9, 2003.
Our mandate is to provide assistance to all performing artists in time of need.
The executive and members meet frequently to discuss situations,
which may require assistance and to plan and execute future fund raising endeavours.
Society members are encouraged to attend general meetings and
are informed of upcoming meetings and events by email.
Members and the executive of the society receive no remuneration for their involvement.
All are willing volunteers who understand the need for this Society.
Fundraising proceeds after expenses are held in trust,
in the Albert Blain Performers Aid Society bank account.
The executive must meet to discuss any expenditure.
