Painkiller - Rock Band 2 Expert Drums - 5GS* w/ Ions with All Cymbals

I'm getting too many stupid comments.

Well, this will be my third video of me playing Painkiller, each one progressively getting better. This will probably be the last solo drum video of this song I do until I FC it. I was able to get gold stars on this song shortly after I uploaded my last video, but I was too lazy to ever record it.

I'm working on getting 100% on that last solo, I have yet to do it. I've nailed the first one, but once I can FC that last solo, I'm sure I will be able to FC the song soon.

I only showed the footcam for the first solo, being that's where my most intense foot movements for this song happen. I would have kept it for the whole song, but I didn't have very much room in the shot to show my foot without blocking myself, the drums or the chart.

Thanks to my new DVD recorder, I can now record with more ease and in higher quality instead recording with an old VCR with terrible quality.

Another thing that's changed is the intro sequence. I felt that it needed a face-lift, not that there wasn't anything wrong with the incredibly nerdy old one.

My IONS are set up fairly similar to that of a real drum set. I now currently use two different types of electronic cymbals. All three Ion cymbals I've had eventually broke. You may also notice that I've gotten a new 16" ride cymbal from Pintech. I use all cymbals as often as I can. Sometimes it's hard to tell whither I should it the pad or the cymbal, but I typically can tell which is which.

I use a Destroyer Pedal, and it gives me no double hits, and is very durable. If you have the money to spare, and are a Rock Band enthusiast; I would highly recommend it.

I also now have double bass. I don't really use it too much on Rock Band, except for rapid difficult bass notes, other than that, I use double bass mostly on GH: Metallica and Smash Hits.

On Guitar Hero Van Halen, this so is much more difficult. It has more bass petal then this song. It has more notes. Rock Band just took it and made it less difficult even on Expert. So i have to say Rock Band sucks

@GamersCornerXL I'm actually going to have to disagree with you, as I've said before, this version actually more difficult than the on in GH. GH never even added the intro drum solo intro, which is a complete and total fail. Not to mention that triplet bass notes on one pedal are much more difficult than consistent double bass, and double bass in this song is super easy.

@CCBlackhawk This version is actually hard than the version on Van Halen. The triplets are way harder than the consistent double bass on the GH version. Although it's not more accurate, unfortunately Rock Band didn't integrate double bass into the game. Rock Band 3 will hopefully do that.

And why would I want an Xbox, so I can waste my money to play online?

Guys, quit telling this guy to stop wasting his time. It's like, saying people who play vocals on this game should stop wasting their time and go get lessons, then audition for an actual band and tour around the world. -_- It's a goddamn game. Just because they have talent at the game (which, actually does require talent and is not as easy as some people make it out to be) and they wish to share it with the world doesn't mean they're wasting time.
