Hey man, I am using the Zoom H2 and it is awesome, I love it!! However, I want to incorporate some sort of lavalier into the H2. Basically what I am asking is, do you know what mic I can plug into the zoom so that the Zoom can be placed behind my back while the mic, that is plugged into the External Mic In port can be placed onto my shirt?

Is the receiver for this wireless mic portable? I've seem some receivers that are like a box and I need one for on location shooting for a point and shoot digital camera that shoots video. I'd be plugging in the receiver to my zoom H2. Thanks!

Nice video man, I'm about to get a lav mic and I'm not sure if I need one with power or without. I'm planning on hooking it to my Zoom H2. I'm just confused because I don't know if lav mics need some sort of phantom power.

Right now I'm lookin at Olympus ME 15. Will that be fine?

I think it really comes down to what type of video's you're going to be recording.

If you need a hands free mobile (on body) mic, then a lavalier type is the way to go.

External recording devices like the Zoom H2 are great for studio work because the larger condensers in the built in mic are able to capture better sound while the recording format can be customized for frequency, bit rate, etc.

Wow, that Sony sounds like crap compared to the H2. I thought for sure the lavalier would sound better.

I am considering getting the zoom H2, but was wondering, how well does it perform as an off camera mic? I see you always have it right with you in your videos. How well does it pick up if placed just out of the frame?

Hey Matt, I really like your videos sharpness and the whole quality. I am impressed with what d7000 can shoot. Before I looked at all DSLR videos and it was not sharp enough for my taste, but your videos are dead sharp. I am considering to get myself d7000 now and put down d90.
