210 Saltwater Reef Tank, using a 55 gallon sump (copepod breeding ground, live rock and substrate). No filtration. It is as it is, just like the ocean. I currently am working on coral growth (have coral growing off my overflow boxes and powerheads), so the fish quantity is a little limited. Hope you enjoy it.

  • Sorry man, I'm not shipping any corals, especially for free and especially to Canada. Too much time, effort, and money. If you want Xenia, you need to come get it. Sorry, I have too much going on with work and my family.

  • HI can I have a medium size xenia coral from u for free please mine is not doing so well it is not growing and can u help me please thanks? what should I do to keep my xenia coral growing? should I get a sump to help my pet xenia coral to grow crazy like yours? how many gallon is your sump what kind of filtreation u using in it too? does bio balls and filter media can help to clean my aquarium I got a little algae problem?

  • Where do you live? I don't mind if you take some xenia. Sumping is always a good idea for tanks, especially SW tanks. It increases your water volume, and more water volume makes for a happy tank. I use a 55 gallon sump, and zero, yes ZERO artificially filtration. My corals and live rock are my only filtration. I would NOT put bio balls in your tank, and if you are having an algae problem, check your phosphates, I'd bet money they are too high. Snails and stars are a good fighter of algae.

  • It's a really nice tank, I love the coral in the beginning(StarBurst?) it's really cool, good job man!

  • The coral at the very beginning is acutally Silver Pulsating Xenia, and it is growing out of control now. I actually have to pull it from my rocks and scrape it from the glass because it is taking over. If you are anywhere near me I would be happy to give you a bunch of it. I have been flushing it because our LFS's here suck. I live in Idaho if you are close. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!

  • @sungod700 - hello there VERY NICE TANK!!! hey what's your secret on those xenias? mine has stopped pulsating but still alive.

  • Ya know, I'm not sure. Everyone I have talked to says the same thing, either you will grow them outta control or they won't grow at all. Honestly, I don't know why mine are growing like crazy. I keep FLAWLESS water quality (RODI water, excellent salinity, etc), and I use my supplements ritually (iodide, magnesium, strontonium, etc). They are so nice to have, they eat up my nitrates like nothing else. I wish I had a better answer for ya bud, but I don't. Best of luck.
