I spoke at a protest rally at the Federal Courthouse in Los Angeles, CA on October 6th 2008 as a volunteer speaker for LEAP - Law Enforcement Against Prohibition;

My own organization - Drug Dealers Ensuring Against Legalization - http://ddeal.us - stands in opposition to LEAP, because, as a drug dealer, allowing government to legalize drug sales would put me out of a job.
Charles was arrested by federal agents under the Controlled Substances Act for running a LEGAL and LICENSED medical marijuana dispensary in California - fully in compliance with state and local laws - as well as the restrictions of that license.
After closing his dispensary, a few hundred medical marijuana users were unable to obtain their prescriptions locally - being forced to either go without their medication, or rely upon the black market (with all the assorted ills associated with the black market) to provide for them.
All this is being done in the name of "PROTECTING" the public.
Honestly, if that's the kind of protection government offers, we'd all be MUCH better off without government at all.
I have my own federal drug case - I'm awaiting sentencing.
I plan on filing an appeal - and have signed a conditional plea permitting me to do so.
My appeal is based upon the fundamental property rights of all citizens in this nation, and the Constitutional limitations upon government's privileged authorities that prevent it from suspending the citizen's rights - no matter what purpose or goal is imagined by those making the laws.
For more information on my case, please go here;

And if anyone knows a Federal appellate attorney that wants to stop the deaths, disease, crimes, and addiction that are CAUSED BY prohibition - please help them get in contact with me.
Thanks!
