@patcoston I've been watching the crashes too. The thing is that a segway is easy to ride just like a bike is easy to ride. You still need to learn how to do it.

Instinctively people try to drive it with the handle bar. What they need to do is bend their knees and control it with their feet. I keep seeing people lock their knees, lean right forward and then push the handle bar as well. That's what lands them on the ground.

I just watched about 10 Segway crash videos and the way he crashed seems to be the most common crash. I'm wondering if this can be corrected in the software? It seems to over compensate when you lean back really far.

I like walking or riding human powered bikes, skateboards, etc., so I wouldn't own one of these anyway but I've seen these in many other countries including your own so correction: "people and segway = failure is imminent"
