  • shoei good?

  • @PHDoctorMartin Yes.

  • did you get a chance to ride around with the top box mounted like that yet? i've been thinking about mounting a givi case in a similar fashion, but i'm not sure if it'll hold up.

  • @letsemailmark Yes, I've ridden with it a few times and it holds up very well. I think I had up to 40 pounds in there.

  • I am surprised that you had not considered the Ventura rack system. I have it on my 2007 ZX6R and the ease of use is outstanding. I would reccomend it to anyone if they are interested in zx6r luggae solutions. I also have a rack for sale (I was sent a second by mistake and was allowed to retain it) if anyone is interested.

  • @ennistymonjoe I had the Ventura rack and I did not like it at all. It didn't work well with my aftermarket exhaust cuz it interfered with the mid pipe. and the 2 mounting rods look out of place on the bike.

  • Very clever solution! Nice. Makes me wish I had a separate pillion seat on my xj6s. Racks + mounting plates cost a fortune!

  • Nice video, what size is that top box ?Is it a givi e370 ? Thanks

  • clever!
