@carparthero - they are not falling off a cliff, but he has lost some points. A company called Abitron (or something like that) does a study every six months I think it is to break down the share of audience for all the radio stations (for advertising reasons).

@carparthero - Mike's ratings are slipping, as more and more people tune out the FAN at 1pm (Mike's shift). His bombastic style & know-it-all ego is wearing thin. He is worse now then ever when interviewing top sports figures as I cannot listen to him without shouting : "Mike, please let the man him finish his sentence before butting in" or "Mike, please stop interrupting" or "Mike,why don't you let the guy answer the question before you butt in with what you think the answer is"

@thogy as far as picking super bowl favorites in the nfl, that is very difficult to do. many pundits were saying GB to win it all at the beginning of the season. Parellls, I feel that most people would pick him to get into the hof. i do think that parcells frosty relationship with the media may hurt him in getting in, at least for awhile.

as far as mike's ratings...if they are as bad as what you are saying, then again the people will vote accordingly.

@carparthero he said the Patriots had very little chance to get to the super bowl, he also said Parcells was a lock to get into the hall of fame. His ratings are less than the morning show, and are starting to slip. He is a bully, he berates his callers and now only idiots call in, so the cycle will only get worse. He commandeers all interviews and many can no longer listen to him.

if mike was so bad then he wouldn't be on top of ny sports radio for 20+ years. it would only be me and mike's mother that thought mike was right.

the last time i checked, ratings are based on people tuning in. if mike is that bad, people would have tuned out 20 years ago!
