@NoirFan01 Gagne may be boring but he is an important part of this angle, Heenan clubbing Gagne from behind with has cast is priceless and that is what initially gets the crowd worked up, it's Heenan's rant that keeps it alive.

When the WWF was raiding the AWAs talent Booby Heenan was the only one that gave the AWA his notice.

@bigmike7379 I read in one of his books that someone actually had the suit made for him... I THINK Wally Carbo but don't quote me on that. I could be wrong. In any case, a similar suit was made for Bobby's daughter, Jessica. If you get his dvd, there are stills of both of them in weasel suits. Too cute!

@MrsWLeach yes they were and in reality the suit truly was heeenan's the match was even his idea .he owned the suit and wore it on more than one occasion lol

@AxeNewkill I recall a bit about Hulk Hogan, who I really don't remember from those days, but apparently, Verne was gonna give him the belt, but there was a string or so attached so Hogan jumped ship. Not sure of the exact situation. I do know that Bobby got Hogan in with the AWA and Hogan repaid the favor. Hulk Hogan might not be much of an Actor, but he and Bobby SOLD their in-character animosities well!

@MrsWLeach Verne is apparently alive and he'd be about 85. I would guess his dementia is rather advanced now.

@AxeNewkill Have you got the Bobby Heenan dvd set? He had another one made for his daughter, Jessica, when she was little. Wonder if she still has it and lets her son wear it. I did see a few pictures of Jessica Heenan's little boy, and he does bare a good resemblance to his famous granddad.

@NoirFan01 Nothing, really. If he'd been in his right mind, he wouldn't have done it, I don't guess. So they just had to let it go and keep Verne out of trouble as much as possible, but looking after Alzheimer's patients is TIRING, I would imagine. Thank God I've never had the personal experience. Is Verne still alive, does anyone know?

@MrsWLeach Heenan, and everybody else that ever knew Verne Gagne, hated him.

By the way, that weasel suit was HEENAN'S idea, and he had it made, and kept it, and still has it. He last used it in a match with the Ultimate Warrior.
